Shave and a haircut pampam

I'm thinking about quitting music. Not for ever, but for a while, my songs are beating the crap out of me. Kind of.
It's a midwritecrisis I think, not a writersblock, I write things. But I just don't like them. And the piano, I can't think of the music with the songs anymore.
So it's really annoying and I don't want to hate singing. But also, sometimes it feels like I only am the songs I make. And that's pressuring.
And don't sorrow me. Come on.

I don't know if I'll persue this, this quitting for a while. But I'm going to try it, until all my exams have passed I won't write any new song, won't play any of my own songs, won't hum any of my songs, won't listen to any of my songs.
I don't want to hate what I do, it's too important for me to hate it.

We'll see how it works out, and if I even work it out. B-) (that's a smartypantssmiley) and maybe, I'll go looking for a band. It's not really handy to do that this time of year though, I mean, I'm going to Amsterdam, so if I find a band, they'll have to go to Amsterdam too.. otherwise it's no use.

So.. yeah.. my first real performance ever. How nostalgic.

Maybe it's just almost the wrong time of the months, maybe it's the exams, maybe I just need some peace, or maybe I'm just right. Haha anyway. Come onnn :p

A talented Dutch performer (and no, I'm not talking about myself! Haaahaa woo bad joke) once said : "Don't be scared of the song, it's already there, it just needs to be written." (anywaym, it was something like that)

The songs'll come again :-) oe ah, I need to get ready for school now, but I'll still be merrily blogging along. Or something like that.
